Kingston Plantation Myrtle Beach: May 28-June 1, 2012

A week for middle and high school students to get away from the routine and experience God in the beauty of His creation. Each day we have 2 large group sessions (one in the morning, and one at night), made up of life-changing teaching, worship, and fun. Small groups follow our large group sessions where students have the opportunity to get practical and meet new friends. Every afternoon we have free time to hang out on the beach, play volleyball, participate in our rec time, and lots more. Camp is the highlight of the year for our Watkinsville student ministry!

Cost: $320. This covers transportation, lodging, most meals, t-shirt, and all our camp sessions and materials.

We have had a busy day today! Started off with a great morning session and small groups. After some great mini burgers for lunch (Meg Lavender and Jessica Shirley have done an unbelievable job cooking for us this week) we had some beach/pool time. So far so good on no sunburns! We went out for dinner tonight. Some of the students ate at Hard Rock, some at Johnny Rockets, some at Joes Crab Shack, and some at a pizza place. All of these places and more were at a place called Broadway at the beach.

Tonight we are in the session, and we have already had some unbelievable moments of worship. Our teacher/speaker, Stuart Hall, is doing an incredible job teaching students the truth of God’s Word. Without a doubt, God is moving! Thanks for your prayers, can’t wait to see how God will change hearts tonight.
